What’s New in Postscript: September 2025 Product Updates
We’ve got a fresh round of updates designed to help you capture more subscribers, strengthen your brand, and make better use of your data. Read on to see what's new in your Postscript account this month.
Drop Shadows in Popups
You can now add drop shadows to popup buttons, complete with hover state effects and animations. This extra layer of visual polish makes popups more interactive and engaging.
Apply shadows to both default and hover states, or pair them with ease animations for smooth transitions. Perfect for enhancing quizzes, promos, and other interactive flows.
Available today for all brands using the Postscript popup editor.
Dependency Alerts in Popups
Popups now display badges and warnings when they’re referenced in a messaging automation or segment.
Badges highlight connections directly in the popup list, while banners in the editor warn you before making changes. Each dependency is clickable, taking you straight to the linked automation or segment.
Available today for all brands using the Postscript popup editor.
Exit Intent Trigger in Popups
Capture visitors before they leave your site with exit intent popups. Triggers like navigating away, tab switching, idle time, or scrolling up make sure you reach people at the right moment without being disruptive.
Available today for all brands using the Postscript popup editor.
Per-Popup Breakdown in Message Analytics
Get deeper insight into popup performance with per-popup analytics. Metrics like CTR, CVR, and revenue are now broken down for each popup inside Message Analytics.

This update applies to data from September 25, 2025, onward, with historical data maintained separately for reference.
Available today for all brands using the Postscript popup editor.
Unified Subscriber Timeline in Conversations
Subscriber details, tags, Shopify data, and conversation history are now all consolidated inside Conversations.

This new unified timeline makes it easier than ever to manage subscriber interactions. As part of this update, the Responses tab and Subscriber Details tab are being deprecated, but all the same data (plus more) is still available in a much improved UI.
Available to all brands in the coming weeks.
